Community Calendar Guidlines

The Community Calendar is a free of charge weekly, pre-recorded, sponsored feature that runs 4X/day, Sunday-Wednesday on KMMS AM/FM, KXLB FM, KISN FM and KZMY FM. Information received for the Livingston area is also considered for KPRK AM.

The Calendar information is listed on the websites of each Gap West-Bozeman station.

The Calendar is similar to a PSA, however, this listing is mainly used for publicizing upcoming events of interest to the community the “week of” and is not necessarily a public service.

A Calendar listing is approximately 15 seconds.

Submission deadline is Fridays, 3pm the week prior. (The Calendar is recorded on Saturdays and starts the next day.)

The Calendar’s purpose is publicity for those who do not have an advertising budget. (see Notes below)

The value of one week of Community Calendar mentions (including websites) is approximately $650.

Notes:

1. If your organization, board members or a campaign/event underwriter has invested in advertising with other media outlets, we are unable to announce your event at no charge. A sales representative can provide you discounted rates for non-profit organizations.

2. If your event is being sponsored by another group of radio stations, we will decline from including the event on our Calendar. We all respect each other’s exclusive sponsorship arrangements.

3. Please send information in a “radio-friendly” format.
(No newspaper announcements, flyers or extensive print press releases.)
